Hutch, also known as Gary Dedman, has had a prominent presence in the music industry for nearly three decades. He began his career in the late 1980s by organising events in South East London and later went on to run one of the most successful club nights of that era. During this time, he booked renowned DJs and hosted roadblock parties.

Following his success as a promoter, Gary co-owned a leading music vinyl distribution company in the UK. He also spearheaded the A&R (Artist and Repertoire) department, where he discovered and signed some of the biggest records of the time. Additionally, he has extensive discography as a producer, releasing music under various aliases such as Hoxton Whores and Disco Darlings. His releases and remixes have appeared on labels including Ministry of Sound, Manifesto, Sony, Atlantic, Universal, and his own Automation Nation,Revoke Musica and Whorehouse imprints, which is known for supporting new and emerging artists.

In recent years, Gary, now operating under the alter ego Hutch, has continued to make waves in the music scene. He has maintained an international DJ schedule, performing at renowned events such as Glastonbury Festival in the UK, Pride in NYC, and the Jungle in Thailand, as well as private events like a palace in Nairobi and a monthly residency at XXL at Pulse in London.
